Tallulah Tennant Internship

 

Creative Copywriting Intern - Within this placement, my main goals were for me to increase awareness of the luxury brand 'Tallulah Tennant' within both the local, and wider market spaces, to increase the number of page views for the website, and to increase the number of unique visitors to the brand. During my time at Tallulah, I wrote a number of informed and topically relevant articles, before contacting editors of publications with submission pitches for some these articles, using a brand PR email set up for me. The rest of my articles were published on Tallulah Tennant's website, then posted on Linkedin, along with a number of blog posts I also wrote for the website. Adding to this, I also helped to write and edit a social media marketing campaign for Tallulah Tennant's 2019 Christmas collection, and wrote copy for marketing emails for their Christmas 2019 campaign and Spring/Summer 2020 campaign. Lastly, I worked on social media marketing, scheduling three social media posts a day for Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin, using Buffer, with links to blog posts and pages on the website. My social media posting lead to a 100% increase of visitors to Tallulah Tennant's website, according to Google analytics. Overall, this internship has developed not only my journalism, research and writing skills, but my organisational, time management and public relations skills also. I now have a much more in depth knowledge of the workings of a luxury brand, and creative copywriting, and this will be extremely valuable moving forward
